Has anyone got a recommendation of a cattery or cat boarding kennel in South Dublin/Kildare? It seems there's a lot of choice, but no way of knowing how good a cattery really is.

    I've used Martinstown: http://www.martinstowncattery.com/?gclid=COWch-OwzKECFR2Y2AodK0g7dQ

I was happy with how well my two were taken care of. It is an inside-only cattery, so unfortunately they won't have a huge amount of space, but they get to look out at a garden & have lots of fresh air. The owner really loves the kitties so you can feel assured that she'll do her best for them. She'll also text you with updates if you want! My two seemed perfectly content when I came to pick them up.

We recently left our Maine Coon kitty at the Dobb's cattery in D16 for his first cattery stay. Before I l booked him in, I went over for a visit and the owner "Mary" gave us a guided tour of the cattery. I was very impressed.
Mary is a lovely lady who has been involved with cats all her life.
Our kitten loves birds and all the cat houses have a great view of the garden and the visiting/feeding birds. We had no qualms about leaving him and he is booked in again for 2 weeks when we go on holidays in a few weeks time!
