Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Portumna Harbour

I believe there is a good spot to stay overnight in Portumna - is it in the old harbour down by the forest park or is it in the Emerald Star marina? Has anyone stayed there and is it safe at night?

It's the marina down by the castle. Perfectly safe and quiet. I was in the field next door (with a troop of scouts) for the May bank holiday weekend and there appeared to be more motorhomes than boats parked up.

From the forest park you can easily walk into the town too.
