Anyone spot a cheap garden shed, or know of any deals. Looking at getting a classic 10x8 one. Sub €500 would be ideal, but what some places are charging is crazy :(

I can recommend this fella, I got a 16x10 pressure treated barrel board shed, with a tile effect metal clad roof for a great price.
His sheds are built to order regarding door and window position etc.

No affiliation with him, just a satisifed customer !

    B&Q doing a 6x4.5 one for €120 if that'd do you?

They'll deliver too for 20 or 25 euro. Grand little shed.

They won't install it and its a very basic timber.

Try some of the local sawmills or specialists in your area. Moody Brothers in Kildare are very well priced.

A good place to try is donedeal.ie

Avoid any & all of the high street companies.

I'd disagree with you there. I looked around a good bit and could not find an overlap shed delivered for €140 or even close to it! Comes with a 10 year warranty as well.

For example: Kelly Barna sheds: http://www.gardensheds.ie/price-list.html 6×4 is
€370. I rang and they said they'd do it for €330 and that it included assembly but I'd prefer to assemble it myself and save €190. It took about 3 hours to assemble and I'm not the handy type.

Moody brothers said they'd do a 6x4 overlap for €300 if I collect it.

The closest was Argos and it was about €280 for an 8 x 6 one delivered but not assembled (they might be the answer for you actually: http://www.argos.ie/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=30001&catalogId=1500002201&langId=-1&searchTerms=overlap+shed).

It all depends on what you want -but it'd be silly to dismiss high street out of hand.
