Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Doing my usual browsing of the net this morning and came across this. Looks really interesting and better still is on today at 6pm. Registration is required, hit the button below. Hope someone finds this useful. :)

The art of Black and White Photography with famed fine art art photographer Vincent Versace.

This class is about how to make a Black White image that not only rivals Silver Gelatin images but surpasses them. Learn why you should not use every conversion approach and when you should!
You will learn how to transform a RGB file to B&W replicating the physics of how it would have been recorded if actually shot on black and white film without ever leaving the RGB color space.

Join us on Thursday, May 13, 2010 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM BST

Just got the second half. The little one kept me occupied for the first bit. Looks really good. Would love to see it again from the beginning.

I wonder is there a podcast? Going looking...

Can't find a podcast, but there's another webinar on adding Bokeh on 24th May. Details here

This alone is an very strong indication that the person involved is an idiot, spend your time elsewhere.

I'm glad you can tell someone is an idiot simply by reading one statement that was probably written by someone else. ;)

After watching most of the show, the statement probably means 'not only can you replicate Silver Gelatin but surpass it for versatility'..... as Simplicus as that. :)
