washed my dog today

    well I washed my dog today. while i was drying him I noticed he had sores like bite marks. they were red. should i bring him too the vet.

    its a golden lab

    I'd say definitely get it checked out in the vets. Are they weeping/infected looking? What size bite marks?

    They could be something like burst abcesses. I always find them on dogs when grooming them. You could ask your vet anyway, but hopefully it's something non-harmful like that.

    Aye +1 on the vets - my girls got fox mange before, they were very itchy for ages before we could find any red marks.
    So it could be something simple like mites. Best to get it checked.
