Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

City Spares in Palmerstown sell all sorts of fixer-upper stuff. My advice would be to buy a four stroke 250-600 traillie style road bike rather than an old two stroke scrambler but it depends what you are going to use it for. Old non-running stuff tends to take a lot of dosh to get going and then breaks your heart - if you get a rusty old KLE, Dominator or Transalp it might look like crap but it'll never stop running unless you put soup in the engine instead of oil. Most bike shops have a selection of junkers out the back and are delighted to sell them as field bikes without warranty.

Don't forget you need a helmet, boots and gloves (and think about a body protector if you are doing anything lairy)

    Don't fall off.
