Rather entertaining game in the end, wasn't expecting that. Fair play to Pompey for making a game of it but in the end Chelsea's superiority shone through.

Ah well, not a bad effort from Pompey but you can't miss a peno in a Cup Final against a team like Chelsea and expect to live to tell the tale.

They did themselves justice however, as did Avram Grant who has to take credit for keeping them dignified during a horrendous few months. I'd say he'll be a manager in demand.
