Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I don't know if I'll be able to hang on for another 2 weeks without reading any spoilers. What time was the fan screening on? A general yay or nay from the screening would be good!

Ill be going again in 2 weeks.

Unbelievable film. Joss Whedon is a genius. That is all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,910 ✭✭✭✭Zero-Cool

I looked at my watch one point and was sickened to see how fast time was going. I saw people were saying the first 2 3rds were slow but I loved every minute. The last third was so epic it might have overshadowed the first bits but the characters build up and relationships were just brilliant. Classic whedon. I will def b giing to see this again in 2 weeks!

I just wish a Civil War film would be made but I think thats impossible with different studios having rights to different characrers.

Okay we've heard enough quiet now till the release date when the rest of us mere mortals get to see it

No new thread! If we gotta wait for the movie then you gotta wait to talk about spoilers!!! >_<

Great to see there's positive feedback on this, I hope it's not simply in-the-moment enthusiasm. To those who have seen it though, can I ask one question: without spoiling it, is the post-credits scene worth staying back for? Annoying to sit waiting for the easter-egg scene only for it to suck :)

ehh... it's pretty short and you could probably catch it on youtube but it's not after the entire credits, just the flashy actor credits that only go on for a minute (if you know what I mean)

    Damn right it is.

Also, the movie is the perfect balance of humour and action, the amount of times the audience erupted with laughter followed by applause was ridiculous.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,910 ✭✭✭✭Zero-Cool

Ya, def worth staying, you'll only have to wait about a minute anyway. Although I'm guessing the new scene they are filming will be after the long credits.

Couldn't believe people actually got up and left as soon as the credits started rolling, felt like shouting "Sit down you foooools, theres gonna be mooaaaaaarrr!"

Ya, the crowd was great, load of laughing/clapping moments.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 845 ✭✭✭what the hell!

I'm so excited the next 2 weeks are going to go so slowly! How the heck were people leaving before the extra scene?? I thought they were supposed to be major fans!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,532 ✭✭✭WolfForager

The majority of people stayed until after the credits, very few actually left. Only one I noticed was that annoying reporter from Click who kept on trying to interview me and my mate, and a few other people who were probably only there because they got free tickets and had nothing better to do that night.
