Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Swansea City striker Besian Idrizaj reported dead.

    Just heard this on SSN. Really really sad news. The lad was only 22.

    Swansea City can confirm that the agent of young striker Besian Idrizaj has informed the club that the striker has sadly passed away.

    It is understood that the popular 22-year-old died in his sleep on Friday night while at home with his family in Austria.

    The exact cause of death has not been confirmed and our thoughts are with his family, friends and team-mates at this time.

    Yep, a lot of people thought he had a big future after he scored a 20 minute hat-trick in pre-season a few years ago.

    How does a 22 year old professional athlete have a heart attack?

    Will be interesting to find out the exact cause of death.

    RIP, never good to see a young promising athlete taken before their time.
    Hopefully will lead to more young footballers taking proper health checks, more rigid checks for heart defects should be put in place.
