Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    when you've a DSLR and your photos are bland, it's time to move to a holga. when that wears thin, time for a polaroid. and from there to just concentrating really hard at a sheet of photographic paper till an image forms.

    i kinda did that but in reverse - i started on what would now be considered ''hip and holga" plastic fixed lens 35mm cameras... moved onto film slrs in my teens and was all about the instant art of the polaroid in my late teens and in college... then years later i went digital.... maybe that's where it all went wrong... :rolleyes:

    *wanders off grumbling about those eejits making polaroid 'hip' and ruining it for the rest of us*

    you just need some photographic paper. better if it's four years past its sell by date and has been sitting in the attic of a war veteran, makes it more interested than merely *buying* it.

    I hadn't got this in mind as I started the thread but perhaps it is rather apt;
