    I'm trying to figure out the name of the book I read when I was young, I would have been aged 10-14 I'm guessing, but the book wasn't new I read it in school.

    I can only remember a little, I know there was a brother and sister and at one point the sister gets kidnapped and the brother meets a wild boy named Con or Conrad or Conan who helps him get to the sister.
    The person who kidnapped the sister might have been a witch (or just knew magic) and may have lived on a mountain. I think there was a castle somewhere in the story.

    I know it's not much to go on, but if anyone know what I was on about I'd really appreciate it, it's driving me and my friend crazy for ages.
