Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Internet content filter

    Anyone know what the best Internet content filter to use on XP media centre? What I would like to do is block Limewire, torrents and pron from a machine without having to cause too much hassle to the owners. Preferably a free or open source program.

    Any ideas?

    SET YOURSELF as windows administrator, set up 3 guest accounts for the users.
    you could also use opendns to filter from the router,
    google setup opendns.
    USE admin password like, QW12rt56dg66,ie it cant be guessed .
    Theres no perfect filter ,you can tell owner look at windows/programs, make sure bittorrent/limewire is not installed.http://bashsoftware.net/

    that stops users installing limewire without your permission.setup install block,
    google free web filter.
    you can put password in the browser ,set ,internet options, content filters,block, nudity ,bad language.
