Hi, I have an N97 32gb phone and I only have around 10 mb phone memory free....I've office programmes saved (adobe and quickoffice), ovi store, a mobile security programme and nokia maps installed but these will only save to phone memory and not to mass (drive e) memory.

The problem is when I turn off the phone and turn it back on I keep getting low memory warnings etc. Is there any way to increase the partition so as to increase the phone memory (drive c)? Or any way to move programmes saved to mass memory...when I go into options I only get options such as details, uninstall?

What software are you on? *#0000# and send/call will tell you

That problem was fixed on newer software if i remember correctly.

Use some tools like Y-Browser to del these dir:
    c:/system/cache
    c:/system/temp
    c:/system/dmgr
    c:/data/install
    c:/temp
    c:/cache

Cheers for the replies. I linked up by usb to the computer and through ovi suite I checked the software for updates but I'm up to date and its still doing it.

I'll try your suggestion vibbow in the morning/afternoon. I thought it would be a simple job!!

You could try this, I did it on my Satio

Symbian^1 reserves 5MB on C:/ for over the air updates. Since Sony Ericsson does not provide Symbian over the air updates it is safe to delete this cache as it is unlikely that Sony Ericsson will ever provide over the air updates.

    1. Delete C:\Private\102072c4\reserved.bin.
    2. Make an empty text file called reserved.txt and copy it into C:\Private\102072c4\reserved.txt
