There are lots of riding centers around the county. Its been a while since I have been horse riding but used to do a lot of it when I was younger in the places I have linked below. I found both places good but as I said its been a while since I have been to either. They will have lessons to cater for beginners.

i have been going to the rockmount riding stables for the last couple of months and i really enjoy it. the lady who teaches us,helen, is so friendly and nice. there is more instructors out there though aswell.they have classes on most evenings of the week, but not sure what time the beginners are on at,you would have to ring them and ask. lessons are 25 euro per hour,it might seem expensive but if you search around you will find that most places charge the same or even more. the lesson normally runs over the hour aswell.
they have large indoor arena and an outdoor arena too. loads of horses to choose from and to cater for ever ability. hope this helps.
    good luck
