Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello

Would you buy a car that has been lying on a forecourt for 6 months and rarely used except for test drives ?

Or is it bad that the car has not been used properly in so long ?

    thoughts ?

Wouldn't bother me. 6 months is nothing and anyways its been out for test drives in that time. I've a car that I didn't drive for two years four years ago. Still going perfectly!!

My current car was for sale by the garage for almost a year before I bought it. My mechanic said it was nothing to be worried about and its running fine ever since I bought it 18 months ago (touching wood etc).

I had a car that was hardly touched for almost 2 years, once all the consumables was changed it was fine.

    No.

    - flat spots on tyres
    - seized joints
    - seized brakes
    - batteries
    - ..... rats ;-)

Some cars don't react that well to being left undriven. I'd rather buy one that has had regular use.
