Has anyone here gone for it? What's the process?
    Thanks.

You need a full B licence first. Then you need to pass a medical, and a theory test. With all that you apply for your D1 (or D) Learner Permit. If you plan on driving professionally, you then need to pass two CPC Theory Tests and apply for the CPC Driving and Practical tests - Make sure it's the CPC one because if you pass the regular non-professional driving test you'll still have to do the CPC one, whereas the CPC covers both.

If you don't want to drive professionally, once you've got your Learner Permit you just apply for the regular driving test as normal and either way, get some lessons while you're waiting.

    What's it for?

I'm doing mine at the moment. Just applied for the test and am taking lessons.

Curiously, the only school in Dublin that offers minibus lessons is the Irish School of Motoring. Seemingly they are very busy with it too, you'd think others would have copped on that there is a demand for minibus.
