Are boarding kennels ok about giving medication? Our guy is going on his holidays this week but he's on metacam atm mixed into his dinner?

PS - I tried calling and got no answer (they're out taking care of the dogs during the day)

Yeah it should be fine, maybe just leave them written instructions of when and how much he should be given, and they'll give them to him.

Thanks! My poor baby lol I'll be worried about him all week and he'll be having too much fun to miss me!

Just to update giving the medication was no prob and he had a great time. They even washed and groomed him so he's extra fluffy lol :D

It's such a relief when you find a kennels you're both happy with. :) I just had another reason to think Keith (the guy who runs our local kennels) should be sainted.

    Where did you use TK123?

We used Best Kennels. Dog Training Ireland recommended them - he loves all the trainers there so I decided if they recommended the kennels then we'd have no problems. I have to admit I felt terrible leaving him there and worried about him until I got a text the following evening to say he had settled in well! He's in great form - he even let the vet pet him this morning and was wagging his tail at her for a minute - before he reverted to being a brat and growling when it was time to be examined!
