Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I do get tired of firefox but its the best browser when it's working right I find

my problem is when I start firefox it freezes right away and takes 30-50secs for it to unfreeze

this may happen a couple of times within an hour of browsing

iv the latest update and before I updated it, it was working perfectly :(

    so what's up

Use THIS to backup all your Firefox settings & then do a clean install. Use the same program to restore your backed up settings.

I'm also having a little annoying issue. The Java thingy on my firefox updates pretty much every day! And I have to install/update it then restart firefox and all that. Tried google but it doesn't seem to be a common problem at all

I had that problem recently on a laptop running XP. It sorted itself out when I uninstalled some old Java updates in Add/Remove Programs.

I am having the same problems also. Sometimes when I am browsing everything starts to go really slow so I then have to log out of everything and restart Firefox which I find really irritating and it has only started happening recently too. I too love Firefox and find it the best browser!

Open task manager and see how much memory Firefox is using....

I tried a plugin (firefox memory optimizer iirc) that takes care of the memory usage quite ok. Trouble was only that that plug in accessed the memory and made my firewall go "loco".
