Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Panaracer Tyres And Punctures

Anyone else use these? I've got them on my TT bike / Carbone SL's and I've been plagued with punctures - averaging one every couple of hundred kms. Despite close examination of the tyre and rim no apparent cause can be found. All were little pin prick holes in various locations around tube. I bought these tyres on the recomendation that they had better puncture resistance than Michelin Lithion which I have on my other wheels and on which I've never had a puncture. Has anyone else got this problem with them?

Now I've found this review http://road.cc/content/review/17083-panaracer-closer-700x23c-folding-tyre which seems to suggest that its a problem with these tyres. I ride on country roads so I would be riding over gravel and twigs regularly enough, and I'm not exactly light.

I'm probably going to switch over to Michelin Lithion but before I do any suggestions for a decent race tyre with good puncture resistance.

Panaracers are really currrappp....try Continental GP4000S. Nice balance of puncture resistance and speed.

My friend Martyn disagrees, he says they are one of the best tyres he has raced on. I'm sure he meant the extremes though.

    +1 for continental GP4000.
