Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Some of you will have come across this before. Not a pretty site to look at and/or navigate, but some very interesting stuff...

    http://www.amptone.com/

And I'd be intrested to see what people think of the accuracy of the wattage/loudness ratios here:

The ratios are technically correct, and pretty much accurate in practise too from my experience.

    I've gigged with a 5 watt amp.

Been on the main page before too but it's a bit of a maze TBH.

Think it must have been converted from an old newsgroup...

Same thing happens for me. Maybe they're doing some website maintenance (badly)?

I've found a way to read some of the site.
    Google 'site:http://www.amptone.com'
    Click on the cached result.
    Username 'Guest'
    Press the 'Cancel' button twice.
    You like?
