Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Download CS5 and choose the option to highlight new and improved features of CS5 over CS4. ;)

    Yup.
Most of the things are the same anyway - no vast differences. A few additions that you can ignore and some things sharpened up, but it's the same format, moreorless.

Would the op not need a 64bit machine? i thought I read somewhere that CS5 was only 64bit?

There is a 32 bit version of cs5.

There are ways to get cs4, but I probably shouldn't suggest them ...

I dont know why I thought it was just 64bit. Not that I can afford it anyway.

If you're a student it's only e200 on software4student.ie - and you can always try the trial too on adobes own site.
I've only 18 days left on mine. Think I'll splodge some savings on it - it's a fantastic thing.

    Why Cs4 over Cs5?

i dropped back to cs4, i found cs5 not worth the memory hike vs new features

I'm in same boat but back to cs3. I've only found use for one feature so far (content aware scale) but cs5 is definitely slower to run on my macbook that cs3.

i've really moved away from photoshopping these days, ps 7 would probably do me cept for the raw handling, tho using lightroom and exporting tiffs to ps.... hummm i think i'm onto something...

I've gone right of LR unless it's never going to be printed. Can't wait to pop my cs5 cherry. Which reminds me..
