Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Looking at buying one of these 1.9TDI 130BHP with an auto gearbox

    Anyone any opinions on these are they reliable?
    Is the auto gearbox any good or will it give trouble?
    Is there any common faults or problems to look out for?

    Mileage is on the high side around 120k but still think there should be another 3-4years driving on it.

    How much would you give for an early 2000 model with the same mileage (leather, standard wheels, sun roof....)

    Also what kind of MPG should I be expecting with the auto box I'm guessing around early 40's but not 100%

    I have a 03 A6 Auto do not touch it with a barge pole, the gear box ecd is gone €1400 to you and there is a pretty good chance the box will go. Beautiful car but if I knew then what I know now I would buy a manual.

    electronic control unit, it tells the engine what gear it should be in i think, don't know much about what happens under the bonnet :D
