Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

moving before claim comes through

    Hi, im just wondering where i stand or what i need to do in my current situation! I was working up until march of this year, but got let go due to not enough work in my former place of wok. I have been living at my current address in dublin since auguest and my lease is up at the end of may, just after next weekend. I have put in a claim for jsa at the start of april and still have not heard anything back from the dole office. i already had a claim in while i was living with my parents a few years ago but got work and cancelled my claim so never got any money from that. while i have been waiting for my dole i have been getting the payments from the health service for 150euro a week as im only 22. I will now have to move in with my sister as i can no longer afford to live on my own. I was just wondering how do i go about changing my claim from phibsboro to lucan where my sister lives if i still have not actually got the dole payments? Im still on the waiting list? will i also have to go into the health service office and change where i collect my money from phibsboro post office to lucan post office? I know i will have to inform them of my changing address!

    sorry for such a long winded post but i have never done this before and am honestly seriously confused by the whole process!

    Just go into the SWO in Lucan and explain the situation and they will request your file from Phibsboro and have it transferred over.

    Ask the SWO office about the CWO payments because I wouldn't be so sure about that one, maybe it's just a case of going into the CWO in Lucan once you have the file transferred from Phibsboro?

    As far as i am aware the SW Office in Lucan is just a signing office.

    I beleive you need to go to the Local Office in Clondalkin in order to sign on, if you are living in Lucan.
