I imagine most main routes will be exceptionally busy, with the bank holiday, some schools closed for exams next week and good weather.

Many people are likely to finish early, but it should be calm enough after 7pm, although expect the usual traffic blackspots (unless its been bypassed, in which case, watch out for idiots anyway).

From 06:00 until 23:00, services to Dublin Airport will serve all stops to Westmoreland Street as normal, then will proceed up Gardiner Street. A City Centre pick-up will take place by Browns Hostel. The service will then turn left into Parnell Street, proceed along the top of O'Connell Street, and will make an additional pick up on Parnell Square West, opposite the main entrance to the Rotunda Hospital, before heading to the Airport along the normal route.

After 23:00, services will return to their normal route, in both directions.

    Monday 7th June 2010:

Please see the separate news item for full details of service changes on Monday 7th June 2010, as a result of the closure of O'Connell Street Southbound and the Women's Mini Marathon.

However, due to the closure of O’Connell Street (Southbound) and the Women's Mini Marathon on Monday 7th June 2010, Aircoach wishes to advise customers that it expects some disruption to its services between Dublin Airport, Dublin City, Ballsbridge and Leopardstown.

Aircoach services will continue to depart from Dublin Airport towards Dublin City approximately every 10 minutes, subject to traffic delays caused by the mini marathon. All services will continue to operate as normal to Drumcondra, but will then set-down passengers for Dublin City Centre in Gardiner Street.

We are, however, pleased to announce that services to Dublin Airport will be able to serve our O’Connell Street stop as normal all day.

There are a number of coach stops from which we will be unable to pick up or set down passengers, during certain times of the day.

Please see the table attached to this news update for full details of which stops are in use / out of use during the day.

Normal services to the Airport are expected to resume at 18:30. Services from the Airport will still set down at Gardiner Street due to the closure of O’Connell Street Southbound until 23:00 on Monday 7th June 2010.

We would like to advise passengers travelling to Dublin Airport to allow extra time for their journey, as there may be delays through volumes of traffic diverted as a result of the marathon.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to your journey, but we look forward to welcoming you onboard our services.

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Service Team on +353 (0) 1 844 7118.

Thank you for travelling with Aircoach.
