Student cut & colour in Cork

I used to go to Jeff Devine Hair Academy to get my highlights and cut done, and was always exceedingly happy with it. I've just gotten a text to say the Academy Street salon has closed down, and the stylists have moved to Wilton. I don't know what the story with the academy is, but I got my hair done at the Wilton branch once and they did the worst job ever.

Can anyone recommend a good salon that does student classes? In Jeff Devine's I paid €55 for a half head of highlights with a cut and blow dry, so don't want to spend much more than that. I tried classes at the Edge a few times, but they consistently ignored what I said I wanted, and the last time I went there they might as well have just done an all over brown colour . All suggestions appreciated!

I went to Toni and Guy a few years ago and it was 20 euro for a cut. I found them excellent, got my hair done for free a few times by other girls in there (including colouring) as part of a competition thing they were doing and they did amazing jobs everytime. I don't have much experience of going to the hairdressers though I'm shamed to say my mum does mine for me usually so maybe I don't have the best point of reference :o
