Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Well, maybe not ever, but it's pretty vile.

Soccer World Cup Warm-Up Showcases African Unity

Cape Town, South Africa (February 2010) - Namibia's Brave Warriors will don the unique Africa Unity Kit when they take on World Cup 2010 hosts South Africa in a friendly at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on March 3.

The Africa Unity Kit, created by PUMA®, is sanctioned by FIFA and is the first ever continental football kit. It is the official third kit of the 12 PUMA-sponsored African teams including continental champions Egypt, World Cup qualifiers Ghana, Ivory Coast, Cameroon and Algeria, as well as Namibia, Senegal, Angola, Mozambique, Togo, Tunisia and Morocco.

Apparently it is the third kit for all African teams at the World Cup.

Let's just hope there's no clashes.

Is it supposed to look like the shorts were once white but they all had a game of football on a dirt pitch?

It'd look really stupid on a white person.
    There. I said it.:p

    What makes it nice?

The contrast of a chocolate brown with light blue, as well as yellow writing is ridiculously horrible.

I believe that the brown is to symbolise the rolling lands of the continent, while the blue represents the clear skies, and they go together to encapsulate all that is Africa.

    Or some shit.

To go to all that trouble describing the metaphor so poetically and then to finish off with "or some shít".

    Priceless man.

I think it's a neat concept for a shirt although I don't like how the top of the shirt is clean looking. As for worst kit ever I still think Newcastle's will take some beating:

I think it's beautiful actually, really interesting concept that I think they captured really well. It'll never be worn though, third interntional kits are hardly if ever worn, let alone for African countries who tend to have shy away from stripes or hoops for their home jerseys. Anyways - worst jerseys!

Looks like someone puked over the shoulders of this cheeky number

    RC Lens Away (96/97)

This must have clashed with most jersey's out there

Personally, I think them jersies are to put off on coming strikers. I cannot find another reason for ridiculously bad gear.

That Germany WC90 shirt really is what you call a classic. They'll probably bring back that design in a future shirt the same way France have done with those horizontal red/white stripes
