    Hi guys,

I have 01 1.9tdi golf; the car is perfect apart from the fact that the turbo wont spool.

I have tried checking the turbo in case it seized but it was told it was perfect, I also replaced a boost pipe near the cam angle sensor which was disconnected; Its still not spooling though.

    Any Ideas?? Thanks.

How do you know it is not turning?

Could be a number of things..

Is the car in limp mode? Struggling to rev?

I had a similar problem on my old passat and it was a split turbo pipe.

Check them all as much as you can, it may be hard to find.

Also check all vacuum hoses one may be perished.

Did you try disconnecting the maf and seeing if it performs any better?

Another option could be your intercooler so check for any signs of oil leak around that (should be behind front bumper, passanger side)
