Evergreen tree in my back garden

Is it a nightmare to get rid of it? Would it cost much? - I think its an evergreen!! Ideally, we'd like to get the majority of tree's removed from the back garden and just have a lawn and some small bushes/tree's. Thanks.

The problem with getting rid of trees is not so much the variety as the size. Maybe if you could post a pic and we would have a better idea of what you are up against.
