Busking amps

I've seen a few people busking with these cool little amps that are battery powered, they're an average sized amp with a guitar input and a mic input and it has a little mic stand built into the side that just pops you, you can either sit on the thing or stand..

Anyone know any names of amps like these? I've been searching online, but can't seem to find any that fit the description.

I'm not sure of the specific one you're talking about, it could be a Roland Cube Street. Others you should consider are the Roland Microcube (a fav around here!), Pignose amps (they have a few), Electro-Harmonix Freedom amp, and the Crate Taxi and Crate Limo series'.

    +1 Roland Street Cube.

    Great little amp

I wouldn't mind a busking amp that was just a powered speaker/monitor. I have a Korg Pandora I could use which would be a lot more versatile.

Is there anything like this? Like that'd be cheaper than a digital amp. Just an efficient powered 8" speaker or something.

Had a good gawk at one today, in town mighty impressed with it and the lad who demo'ed it. Perfect pitch by the way. Really good value for money if I trip over a few handy bob in the coming weeks I might treat myself.

Micro Cube was the one I looked at.
