Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Turn on BBC2 right now. Cool show on bassists. Have seen 5 mins and is excellent!

    Its the series "i'm in a rock and roll band" i've been following it, they devoted an episode to the singer, guitarist etc but this episode is for "the other ones" like bass and keyboards...think its repeated during the week, check the schedule.

    Yeah I saw it when it was on bassists, so thought it was solely on them. Thought it was quite good, wish I saw the rest of it.

    I was lookig foreward to seeing the bassist one, and to be honost I was disappointed with it.

    It was a bit naff I thought, with the odd video montages thrown in now and then, coupled with some dodgy cartoon style artwork.
    however, Mrs G did think their summary of a typical bass player was me to a tee.
    I'm still hurt, but mostly because she was right.
