Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hitachi 42PD5200 no power needs repair

    Hi folks

    My Hitachi 42PD5200 plasma died last night, switched it on and no power, so did the usual, changed fuse, cable etc, no joy.

    Googling shows that the range was subject to PSU problems.

    The unit was bought in Sept 04 so I'm pretty sure theres no warranty, would anyone have contact details for a reliable and reasonable repair centre/ person, the unit is hung on the mantle and not the lightest piece of TV equipment, I'm based in North, Co. Dublin

    Has anyone had the same type of problem fixed by Hitachi out of warranty?, seems to be a manufacturers component problem, "grasping at straws"
