    Do you know any shops in Ireland that sell heximine stoves? Im going to a concert and cant bring a gas stove

    Try online, amazon, ebay etc

    Can you take a meths stove? Trangia are really good and the cheap copies that Lidl do work fine.

    Im not certain as i will have to take it on ryanair... so the stove itself is a bit large

    Its a Hexy stove? About the size of a paperback book, fits inside a combat jacket pocket and the pack of fuel goes inside the stove? What do you want a smaller stove for heating sardines, INDIVIDUALLY?

    Many stores that do camping shops sell both the stoves and the fuel them and a lot of fishing/outdoor sports shops. UK camping shops will also have them so why not pick one up when you are over there.

    Or you could take any type of stove with NO fuel and buy the gas, petrol, parafin, meths or whatever in the UK. Its not exactly tricky to find petrol in the the UK ;) although buying just a litre can sometimes be a pain.

    Airlines may not be the happiest with having hexy on board as it's highly flammable. The best, 100% definitive option would be an empty, clean, meths stove or a gas stove without the cannister.

    Edit - re the hexi, I would be surprised if a camping store didn't carry them. Failing that, if you know anyone in the Army they'll sort you out.
