Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How secure are VPN connections?

    I just signed up with these guys https://www.relakks.com/ and im now connected via a irish isp to this vpn service. Can someone please explain to me in simple terms how secure this connection is?

    Depends on if encryption or authentication is used. If neither it is extremely unsecure. But seing as no one who knows anything about VPN's would implement such a solution then you can be fairly sure it is secure enough for most purposes.

    edit: From the site: "Encryption Technology
    The VPN tunnel use 128-bits encryption (satisfying for most commercial applications like on-line banking)."

    It's very secure if encrypted correctly and you trust both ends of it. So how much do you trust the company you signed up with?
