Seen them twice in 2003 but missed them in March, had a ticket but had to go to hospital that day, and this time they're coming nowhere near me

Having said that, 17Euro is pretty bloody cheap, alongside an even cheaper Ryanair Flight!

Cool 17e, the academy is doing really good with all these cheap gigs recently.

Looks like this has been cancelled, per MCD:
Chimaira have been forced to cancel their upcoming tour which included a sold out Academy 2 show on October 3rd.

A statement from the band issued today read:

Due to an acute illness, we must cancel our upcoming UK tour. The band was really looking forward to the shows especially coming off a successful run in the US as part of the Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival. Alas, health comes first, as it should for us all. Sorry to those who planned on attending, but as the Governor of California once said, 'we'll be back'. or something like that.

    - Chimaira

All tickets can be refunded from point of original purchase.

That's a shame. Good news that it seemed to sell well anyway... I don't think it was sold out. Hopefully MCD will book more metal acts in the future.
