Redundancy if the practice is sold on

An older relative of mine who works in a practice for 20years now has heard indirectly(seen an advertisement) that its up for sale and the staff haven't been told. Will she be able to get redundancy if the practice is sold on? And if she is kept on by the new owner will she get any redundancy?
