Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Type 1 Diabetes Support Group Meeting with Guest Speaker, Diabetes Counselor, Christine Hogan

The prospect of having to deal with a life-long, chronic condition on a daily basis can be a difficult challenge. The constant need to be mindful of food, regular exercise and maybe for some, having to take medication regularly can be daunting. People also worry about the possibility of complications if they can’t control their condition.

It is important for people to understand that diabetes is manageable given the right tools and support.

It is with this in mind that the Type 1 Diabetes Support group has invited Christine Hogan, a diabetes counselor to their meeting in the Marie Assumpta Hall, Ennis on Tuesday, 8th of June at 8pm. Spaces are limited so please call 065 684 5898 or email clarebranchdfi@gmail.com to reserve your place. The meeting is open to people with Type 1 diabetes, family members and friends. Admission is free.
