Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What's the odds on England not making it out of their group?

    EDIT 14/1

England are a bit mediocre tbh. Glad to see Dos Santos knocking about.

    well done Aguilar.

cheap goal, but England have been pretty sh*t.

and it's all to do with the midfield. non-existent.

    happy for Ledley.

And that's why Crouch is going to the WC.

I don't watch Sky at all actually. I just didn't think Mexico were particularly good? They were saying on off the ball there that in the last four meetings between them, England won all four, scoring 16 and conceding none.

    edit: make that 17...

Good to see King score, Crouch did well there too.

Severe lack of Hernandez on the pitch=Mexico 1-0 down

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,463 ✭✭✭Kiwi_knock

Thats why England have a great chance at the World Cup. Don't play great football but have become ruthless in front of goal

    A wave?

Nice finish by King, well done crouchy. reckon stiffer oppo would have had him well and truly tied up though.

Let's not forget that this is probably no where near the starting 11 for England and it's a new formation.

    Great tackle there.

Good run from Rooney; he's nearly back to his old self :D

    Johnson > Walcott

Hope he gets to come on at HT for him to prove that!

Rooney obviously in no way to blame for straying offside while looking across the line.

He can't stand still for 5 mins. Walcott's fault clearly.

What a great save. Should of buried that.

Good save, but King well outpaced there by whoever passed it inside to Vela.

No, but he should be following where the last defender is. I'm not just making this criticism as an Arsenal fan, it pissed me off no end when Arsenal players do it time and time again.

    Mexico look quite classy.

I don't agree at all. Walcott couldn't decide what he wanted to do. So far Walcott has been poor.

Could have been, i missed the replays. Whoever it was really struggled as it should have been their ball.

Johnson plays on the right for Man City, surely a proper Man City fan would know that?

You really don't need to spend any time telling me how poor Walcott is. :pac:

36 minutes and it's 2-0.... Hmm.. I wonder what odds ladbrokes have on this :D

The worst part for England is he isn't the poorest either.

This will end up about 5-2... Mexico are bound to score, but they're also bound to concede at every set piece they face, if the last 40 minutes are any indicator...
