    Are we spending yet? How consumer spending patterns have changed in the recession

    Following the successful launch of the series at the Irish Stock Exchange, the Eastern Chapter MBA Association are hosting the next event in the MBA Association of Ireland Barometer Series. Business is more than economic metrics of GDP, bond interest rates and NAMA and this series of events is designed to provide a ‘health check’ of the real business environment in Ireland. During this series we will delve into a selection of alternate metrics to take the temperature and pulse of the Irish business body and answer the question ‘how are we doing?’

    The next event 'Are we spending yet?' will investigate how consumer spending habits have changed in the recession, ask are these changes going to last and attempt to identify where are the opportunities?
