Due to the insane component prices you're not going to do it for €450 inc. kitchen sink nowadays :(

Best compromise is to hope there's a decent Compaq or Acer lurking in Currys (for some reason PC World are much pricier! :o) for €400-450 inc monitor, but no hope of decent graphics (at one point you could get a post-refresh Acer slimline with AMD X3-425, 3GB DDR3, 9300GS and 19" monitor for €449) so I hope that farm simulator is a browser game or something! :o

Is the farm simulator this one

Must say i have always been curious as to what it would be like :o

If only they had classic tractor unlocks as you progress!

    :P

Anyway for the OPs sake I hope not as I doubt it would run at all well on integrated graphics :o

Best bet may be to haunt Adverts and hope to see a last-gen gaming build going cheap!

Thats the simulator alright.Dont know much about it sorry! What sort of budget would it take maybe i can twist her arm!!

here you go OP, about 500 euro

    6034073

If you wanna shave off a few more euro you could:

    - Replace that tri core processor with an X2, you'd shave off 20 euro max on that.
    - Get a cheaper brand power supply for about 10 euro less
    - Get 2GB of RAM instead of 4GB. Wouldn't recommend it on Windows 7 though, it's slows. That would be another 47 euro off

FINALLY! So yeah, Komplett is still a mess, so maybe you could find similar items elsewhere if you cannot wait a while until Komplett sort themselves out

For what? 429 euro for a pc with a crappy integrated 4200 in it, or 500 euro for a Core 2 Duo machine? He already has a case. He may as well use it and make a quality build with a good PSU and such

Meh you're right, those PC's on dell are pretty terrible, the outlet is empty.

To think that nearly 2 years ago I got a refurb Quad, 4 gig ram, 9600GT and 1 tb hdd PC with windows for sub 300 euros.

    Cherryghost,

Thanks a million for the specs.I have to agree with ya with regards building your own pc.I have built a htpc for my home cinema and have to say that it is excellent. When i first got my own pc it cost me €1400 when i bought it all i can say is never again.would always build my own now.I may not be up to selecting all the components but thats no problem thanks to you guys here!

470 euro without an operating system. Gotta add another 100 onto that

EDIT: Just saw Komplett have the Athlon II x4 620 for an extra 26 euro :)

Even with the same cpu, that system has a slightly better graphics card and bigger hd and it's fully assembled. The system you speced out is going to be ~525.

Building is not always the only option for a half decent machine for a small budget. If I am sorting out a machine for someone else that's the route I'll go down.

nice. you could chop off up to 20 euro on that PSU and go for a Corsair 400 though :) Your PC wont even touch that. It's a very power friendly build
