Problem with Windows Messenger and Nokia 5230

So I'm on 3 and Windows live messenger is free, I use the app and if someone sends me a long message it gets cut off, even if I flip the screen, In the help section it says use # and * to scroll. So I thought maybe theres an option to bring up the on screen keyboard since it's a touch phone, and in the WLM application…

So I thought maybe theres an option to bring up the on screen keyboard since it's a touch phone, and in the WLM application settings under suite settings there is, but it will not let me turn on the onscreen keyboard it's just stuck as " off " ......any help?
