Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As ye know the car was hit a week ago & the guys in FBD have decided it's a write-off. We've aggred on a sum for the value of the car (Based on market value not the actual car I presume) & they're going to take it away.

Here's the bit, is there anything stopping me from taking a few bits out/off the car before they take it away?? eg interior, engine....

Yep. Your insurance company now owns the salvage, which they will sell onto a breakers to do what you want to do.

I'd imagine you could be done for theft if the insurance company really felt like it.

You could buy the wreck back if you wish

You might get away with lifting the radio and small bits like that, but not much else I'd reckon.

You could buy it back, but what would you do after you take all the saleable bits out ot if?

thats the thing, I'm glad they're taking it away, saves the hassle. But I was day dreaming on the way home the seats would be cool for playstation & bench with back. Just stuff like that. But I'll let it slide.
