If you wanna lose the slightly feminine image associated with that sort of car i recommend maybe getting a decent set of alloys or maybe even a bodykit.

    Maybe you right fonecrusher1:

Was gonna use it but i thought it was CHEATING! because its basically a factory on tracks.

In fact its an immediate disqualification because its running on tracks not wheels.

    Game, set & match.:)

    Should of gotten an mx-5.

You would still get the hairdresser comments but at least you would have a nippy good handling car. :D

    Nah, that'd be gay.

......aw jesus i couldn't help myself. Sorry OP!!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 277 ✭✭CosmicJay

Really? oh wise one:rolleyes: what would you suggest? How would you go about de-gaying one of these?

Screw keeping it. New car please. Otherwise maybe drop the Renault Sport turbo motor? Cut off the roof and weld in a roll cage. Bout the only thing thats gonna make it cool.

Sorry OP, I know you love it, but it's like a little boy getting a Barbie doll and expecting the other boys to be impressed. Ain't gonna happen.

I'd lower it as it stands except maybe throwing in a couple of slim wheel spacers. It would harden it up a little. I think the wheels are pretty cool actually.

I know the OP asked for peoples opinions but its still his car, which he paid for with his money, no need for all these "gay" remarks.

    LMAF reading this thread,

OP afraid the car is not great unless a feminine image is the one you want to project and you dont care about cars or driving in any way.

I would rather a Skoda (flame suit on)

What do I think of the car?

They are a big bus with not much going on. An elecy roof is about the best the car has going for it.

Personally I do not like Convertibles in this part of the world. We simply do not have the weather for it. Maybe if I was rich living in LA I would buy a convertible but not here.

Certain cars do have certain images potrayed. Fiat 500, Ford Ka, VW Beetle, Renault Cabrio. They all remind you of something.

A Renault Cabrio does not say MAN.

But, seems as nobody else has said it

Nice sized boot, you'd fit at least 3 hairdryers in it plus your complete ABBA collection :D

Actually, the best market in Europe for convertibles is the UK. Wet weather with occasional sunny days is exactly what you want a convertible for, in LA or the South of France you can't put the roof down or you'll get ear cancer.

That's nothing to do with the weather. That's suburban warfare or the "Keeping up with the Jones type"
