Teak wood - teak oil

Hi All, Made a garden bench out of old Teak shelving that was lying in damp garage for 20years. Dried, cleaned and sanded. Looks good. But I've applied '5'coats of Teak oil and it still seems thirsty. When do you know theres enough on? Thanks.

Hi All,
