Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi folks -
Myself and Roger Overall have put together a new Irish photography business podcast.

It's called The Circle of Confusion with Peter & Roger, and it'll air on the last Wednesday of every month.

Do drop over, have a listen and leave a comment. We hope you enjoy it!

    Cheers,
    Peter

Between the IPPA and NAIP (oh my), "Circle of Confusion" isn't all that far off the mark.

Will your podcast be available under iTunes? At what frequency are you hoping to push out updates?

Updates are on the last Wednesday of each month, and yes we'll be available on iTunes once it passes their review process (which can take a while). There'll be a post on the blog once it's done.

    Cheers,
    Peter

I cant listen to it right now in work ..... is this for the professional photopgrapher set? Has it any relevance to the rest of us not in the business? I only ask because my impression is most people on here are not "in the business"? Thanks.

Pretty much I'd say. As I'm in the business I understand it, interesting but ~ it's a bit long for very little ~ most interesting part was the equipment failure ~ it's about €60K's worth he's talking about ~

Depends on your interest level. If you're interested in photography in general I think you'll enjoy it. Have a listen and see what you think.

gbee - as regards the equipment - not quite €60k, but still pretty expensive stuff.

    Cheers,
    Peter

I'm not into the business side of things but still found it quite interesting.
