But theres eruption of different objects at different parts of the song, so i assume that statically set in the code, however…

Mainly would have just been time consuming, and probably a 2/3 man team.

It's a combo of computer generated movement, with a batch of animations done manually in advance. After that, it's a combo of clever code to give the illusion of user control, but still having elements timed to the music.

Really nicely done piece.
