Photowalk 3rd June - Dublin City

Anybody up for a photowalk on Thursday 3rd June.

Thinking of starting at St.stephens Green SC and heading around the down by one side of the dail, trinity, etc etc.

Starting at 7pm.




Side Note, I will be out of the country until Monday so post away or PM me but you won't hear back until then.

AND EVERYBODY WHO HAS A CAMERA IS WELCOME!

I will try to get some baby-sitting for that. Wish to start some more advanced shooting with people who know what is what.

Did my back in and that day happens to be my Birthday so I won't be joining ye on this one but I will be looking forward to seeing everyones results!

I might come along to this. I got a loan of a DSLR, I am okay with using it but I am a bit of a beginner so I might need some guidance with a shot or two.

i have my camera only 2 months so no panic. But i have some manual lenses too

Usually finish up at approx 10 pm but you can join and leave at anytime that suits you.
Sinister Dexter suggests we start opposite the St. Stephen's Green Shopping Centre at the Main gate to Stephen's Green at 7 pm.

As you can guess John is a veteran of these walks.


Just to quell any thoughts of it not happening, 'cos I didn't say anything when I cam back, but it is.

There is supposedly a march from the Dail to the Israeli Embassy (where is that) starting at 6pm so we might see some of that.

Was planning on going down by either the front or back of the Dail, round trinity (pearse st) and back.... this as always changes.


EVERYBODY with a camera is welcome... I would suggest bringing a tripod. Does anyone have a spare just incase somebody needs one? I only have one.

I have a couple of spare cheapo tripods which anyone can borrow. I will be parking my car in the college of surgeons carpark at a fiver for the night.
If someone needs a tripod let me know here.

Was small numbers but was still interesting... so many things/places still to see in this city.

As for 'walk' - you took off after those protesters like they had stolen your camera! :P

Enjoyed the walk as well. Just little disappointed with my results from the march. But it was first time for me and know already some of the mistakes I made.
Might not find the time today to look through them properly and upload so will probably be end of next week before I post some here.
