Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

hi, going unregged for this one .. my brother is staying with us for a few weeks and asked if he could borrow my laptop to surf the net , well long story short .. he forgot to delete the browzing history and i have discovered hes been watching some strange stuff , namely porn involving animals and humans , i am upset , but he is a teen ager maybe he was curious , i am now wondering if he has broken the law , as far as i know , that stuff is quiet rightly illegal , and as he has used MY laptop ... shall i be expecting the police? any tips on how to tackle this appreciated .

Firstly, I'd say you've nothing to worry about with regards to the police battering down your door.

Secondly, it could be that he was curious or just having a laugh. I guess it would depend on how much of it was there and whether it was a wide range of "topics" or just focusing on the one thing.

When I was a teenager, one of my friends discovered animal porn and found it so funny that we would all try and find the most bizarre thing we could to send to each other for a laugh (I think dolphin porn won). I'd say it's nothing to worry about on your part, just your brother either watching it out of a morbid fascination, or just for comedy value.

Yeah, first year uni was a non-stop game of who can find the most over the top stuff (animal porn, sh*t porn, gay amputee fetish porn, etc).

Unless it involves kids, I wouldn't worry about it. You might want to give him tips on how to hide his browsing habits though.

i remember finding my dad had used my pc for porn once which was a bit weird!

delete your history and forget about it id say. Nothing to worry about for you.

If you're using Chrome, you can get plug ins that delete history every time you close it.. He might get the hint and at least you'll never have to worry about seeing it again.
