I have tried to post a new thread in Music-->Bands/Musicians as I've done many times before but although the text of it is confirmed on screen and appears to the moderators when I visit the actual forum itself the thread does not appear. Would this be a problem with the site itself or no? I trie posting a few times and it still did not work but the moderator confirmed that the thread had been started..
    thanks

I'm pretty sure this isn't a problem with the site. Normally, problems with the site affect large numbers of people at the same time and I haven't heard any similar or related problems to yours.

Your account has the default set of permissions, as does the forum.

Does this only happen with new threads?

Does the thread appear after a while, or does it never show up?

uuup, ain't that always the way? It's appearing only now a day after I posted. Better late than never I guess but there's never been a delay like that before. Thanks for the reply anyhow

If this happens again, can you please measure the delay and let me know how much it's delayed by?

From that, I should be able to tell if it's a problem with the site or a problem at your end.

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
