as far as I know there's,

    Colemans on Charlotte St
    Halfords in Hanover Retail Park
Johnny Clarke in Tullow (does repairs not sure if he still sells)
and there's a guy in Arles but I can't remember his name.

And now Flynn's Nissan Dealer on Tullow Road has a new section selling bikes if I'm not mistaken it's called something "cycle trex"

Brendan Myron, a few doors past the church as you're coming from Carlow.
    Top bloke.

Depends what you would regard as good.

Halfords would be ok for parts but most of their bikes are total crap (only exception I'm aware of is the Boardman carbon fibre)
Colemans would also be ok for parts and maybe some repairs.

For anything major or to buy I would consider travelling slightly further afield, maybe somewhere like Wheelworx or Cyclesuperstore
There are also some excellent online shops like Chain Reaction or Wiggle

If it's for road racing bikes, there is a guy near Thomastown (maybe a bit far for you) I can highly recommend him, absolutely fantastic.

I just bought my Trance X4 from Coleman's (down bosco's lane)

I called into a few shops in dublin which al told me that 1,250 was the best price and another which told me that 1,400 was the list price but he could do it for 1,250 for me. (how nice of him)

Walter "Coleman" told me 1,250 was the list price but he then haggled down from that price. :D
I prefer to deal with local business owners rather than the likes of Halfords etc as we need to keep the cash local imo ...

    His website is
    www.colemancycles.com
