Entered into my first Photo Competition!

I'm so excited! I entered into a macro photo competition and so far, have come up in second place!

I've never posted anything in a competition before, so it was a huge shock to go online and see how close i am to winning.

My photo is entitled "Gifts of the Morning". I posted a similar photo here in the Random Photo Thread recently.

Can't say I'm mad about this thread. Kinda cheatin' to win in my opinion.


I do think you put up a nice photo, but I'd have to go for "curious" myself (the spider).

When someone says "macro" I automatically expect close-ups of insects, flowers or water-drops - as with the vast majority of the others there. This one is well shot, visually interesting and different from most of the others there.
